Do you do Christmas dinner or Christmas Eve dinner?
If neither, do you do Christmas Breakfast? If so, what's on the menu?
I haven't done Turkey day to the full extreme for years. But this year? Yup.
Turkey (I'd rather have cornish hens)
Baked Honey Glaze Ham
Whipped sweet taters, with mallows on top.
Stuffing of course, but with apples in it. Maybe cranberries.
Dinner rolls.
Taters with giblet gravy.
Fried green beans.
Pumpkin pie, peach cobble, pecan pie.
Whew!
Sister in law is doing Christmas Eve dinner...which will be ham. (I still want cornish hens).
I plan on doing the Christmas morning breakfast which consists of hash browns, eggs scrambled and over easy (both), sausage, bacon, toast, tea, coffee, milk and probably a few pancakes. Will we eat all this stuff? Oh hell no. But we will have oodles of leftovers for a long long long time, lol.
