Hobby Lobby Should Hold Religious Services In Their Stores

Not the company's job to provide entitlements.

I agree......we should have government healthcare

But conservatives pee themselves and scream....SOCIALISM
You want the same organization that believes these things are worthy of tax dollars to have complete control over your healthcare?
#3 If you can believe it, the U.S. government has spent $175,587 “to determine if cocaine makes Japanese quail engage in sexually risky behavior”.

#4 The U.S. government spent $200,000 on “a tattoo removal program” in Mission Hills, California.

#5 The federal government has shelled out $3 million to researchers at the University of California at Irvine to fund their research on video games such as World of Warcraft. Wouldn’t we all love to have a “research job” like that?

#6 The Department of Health and Human Services plans to spend $500 million on a program that will, among other things, seek to solve the problem of 5-year-old children that “can’t sit still” in a kindergarten classroom.
Dumbass.

The government has funded the majority of AIDS research as well as cancer research as well as most major health research
The government established the first Internet
The government built the GPS network
The first major super computer was built by the government
Weather research has been led by the government

do whatever you can do to prevent your employees from getting healthcare

it is the american way

healthcare =/= free abortions.

LOL. You forgot the death panels
Hobby Lobby's opposition to the ACA is the part that mandates it buy insurance that covers morning-after and week-after birth control pills -- not insurance in general.

But then, leftists think women are nothing more than genitals, so it's no surprise that you think healthcare is nothing more than abortifacients.

Government put a man on the moon

Government healthcare priorities:
#25 The National Institutes of Health paid researchers $400,000 to find out why gay men in Argentina engage in risky sexual behavior when they are drunk.

#26 The National Institutes of Health also once spent $442,340 to study the behavior of male prostitutes in Vietnam.

They have also spent millions on cancer research
They have also wasted billions.

Government is inefficient. There is no rational reason to expect government-run healthcare will be anything but inefficient.

They are a Christian organization? I thought they worshiped crappy Chinese imports and jacked-up prices.

Read the WalMart threads. It looks to me like rw's and Christians do indeed worship crappy Chinese junk. They certainly hate their country and their fellow Americans.

Screw over Americans, pay them as little as possible and send more money to the foreign companies owned by the one percenters.

Its the Christian/rw way.

Hobby Lobby is losing a legal battle against a government forcing them to adhere to Obamacare. The solution is to hold religious services in all Hobby Lobby stores nationwide and apply for tax-free status.

Obama loves going around our laws so I think it's time everybody in America started lawyering-up and doing the same. If the Obama Administration insists on acting like a Hugo Chavez type government I think it's time we started fighting back.

Hobby Lobby is owned by an evangelical group and this is the first non Catholic group that has become embroiled in a legal depute in the 4 year old law that has yet to take effect. I don't believe in the same things that strict evangelicals do but this used to be a free country.

This kind of governmental oppression is just the beginning. Every Socialist country starts out this way. Eventually they're dictating everything. Government is notorious at starting out with laws that look harmless and cost X amount of dollars and then morphing into something totally different and costing much much more.

My solution may have an effect that Obama and his Christian hating cronies hadn't counted on. Turn every Hobby Lobby into a church on Sunday. Sort of giving Obama a taste of his own medicine.

Does anyone actually still believe that Obama is a Christian?

I use government provided roads and bridges every day. I have safe food and water supplies. A government police force keeps me safe, so does the fire department

Is that over your one percent?

Why don't you start a thread about it.

No use arguing with you about what government does. I don't see the federal government doing any of this, and that's what I was talking about.

Now do you have a comment on the topic in this thread, or are you going to continue to deflect to another topic.

Why does government suddenly become evil and inept when it reaches the federal level

Government operates at the level it most efficiently implemented. We can't have 50 state run armies

It’s some bizarre aspect of conservative mysticism.

I have yet to hear a conservative or libertarian explain why we should fear the ‘tyranny’ of the Federal government yet embrace the tyranny of state and local governments.

No one says he can’t.

He may not, however, hide behind his religious beliefs in an effort to avoid Federal labor law.

The bigger government is the less efficient it becomes.

You should know that.

It all has to do with communication and the numbers involved.

But you should know that.

Obama took Romneycare that was 190 pages or so and made it a law that has an untold number of pages. Nobody can read it because it's too extensive. The only people who even understand it wrote the thing........but they aren't in Congress or the White House.

I still think this argument is fundamentally off-base. The correct response to a law that violates freedom of religion is to get rid of the law, not grant ad-hoc exemptions to groups with enough political clout.

But apparently you can hide behind your status as a Democrat special interest group to avoid Federal labor law.

The person who suggests this obviously doesn't understand the tax law OR the ACA requirements.

NOt seeing a problem here. Most companies are complying with the law because paying for contraception saves them money in the long run.

If everyone had the kind of medical benefits the Unions give out, we probably wouldn't need ObamaCare.

The Unions usually have the best medical plans, which is what happens when you GASP give workers a say in something.
