Hey all:

I finally did watch the vid, and honestly, I was not able to figure out from the footage whether the girl threw herself onto the car, or whether she was just standing close and the driver intentionally hit her. But I will say though, the students definitely sounded noisy to me. They were what someone would call, a rowdy crowd. And if the driver had been in similar situations before, aka, he had been in protests like this before as a Trump-supporter, he probably had some kind of idea what might have ensued, if he hadn't gotten away asap. I am not excusing anybody here, just saying that I can see why the man did what he did.

How do you reach the conclusion of attempted murder though? Genuine question, because I couldn't tell from the video footage what really happened as the girl was struck. Couldn't tell whether she jumped in front intentionally, or whether she was just standing close to the edge and he did not swerve and intentionally plowed into her.
