According to this article in the Philadelphia Inquirer the fastest growing group of converts to the Islamic religion in the U.S. are the Hispanics.
It's not just this periodical or publication that has stated this. This phenomenon has also been reported by other publications like The Washington Post and the N.Y. Times.
