I tend to think getting elected to Statewide office (twice) is an accomplishment. Others do not.
I do not. It's a personal accomplishment, not a widely beneficial one.
I tend to think being nominated for the Secretary of State slot, being approved by the Senate 94-2 (that 94 includes Lindsay Graham and Mitch McConnell) is an accomplishment.
I do not. Serving by permission in an appointed office is not an accomplishment. It's a gimme, in most cases a political gimme at that.
During her tenure as Senator, she primarily had a GOP President and the Senate was in GOP control for much of her service time. Still, she sponsored 20 bills that made it out of the committee and was approved by the body. There were some major pieces of legislation in there. Three minor ones went on to become laws. Accomplishments? Not bad.
That would depend on the nature of the bills, the nature of the Senate at the time and who else sponsored. Simply attaching one's name to a bill is not a particular accomplishment.
I would ask you to look at what the other Senators running for office have done and compare their service time and party influence both in the Senate and the Oval Office.
Reference Obama. What did HE do? As to the current Republicans, I currently prefer the accomplished Governor Who Kicks Democrat Ass.
After recklessly attacking Iraq for no reason
America's reputation was torn apart by the Bush administration. You may recall folks were throwing their shoes at our President over seas. She mended the fences that could be mended resulting in a restoration of trust.
Now THAT'S funny. While partially true, Obama and crew have alienated virtually every ally we had, and quite openly cozy up to our enemies. His support of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt was particularly egregious. I suspect he hopes to surpass himself by surrendering to Iran.
The trade deficit fluctuates but is headed in a positive direction for the US (still way too high).
Also humorous. Please provide your independent documentation.
In 8 years as FLOTUS, she represented our nation with class and dignity.
That couldn't be more irrelevant.
