I don't know when it happened, but I remember the beer machines when I was in Navy fire-fighting school at Treasure Island in San Francisco in 75'.
The last time I was at Pearl the EM/NCO club was bulldozed and replaced with on-post apartments.
They had a really good restaurant at the NCO club at Pearl Harbor.
I think when Clinton became POTUS he was trying to get rid of people for DUIs and drug convictions. Old ones. Then he started booting out people that were overweight. Then if you didn't make rank fast enough he booted you out.
He even made it possible for early retirement, which I decided to take advantage of.
