I'm pretty sure we're obligated under international law to repatriate children to their legal guardians in their home countries.

There are exceptions, however. If the child is fleeing war, for example. Or abusive parents. Or otherwise seeking refuge under the law.

The problem is none of these children are entitled to representation in court. So if they do have a legitimate reason to seek refuge in the U.S. (like - my parents have been abducted by the Cartel - or - my dad is in the Cartel and he's always hacking people's heads off)- they don't even have an adult to speak for them let alone someone who is an actual lawyer. I've heard one story of a 5 year old appearing before an immigration judge speaking on his own behalf because the law provides him zero representation. Its fucked up.

The Catholic leader of he San Francisco archdiocese is in DC speaking about who knows what related to gay and lesbian rights - why isn't he doing good works and using some of his largess to pay for the above needs?

Where is Billy Graham's kidnd the leadership of the Southern Baptists, the Jews, the Mormons and the rest of the self righteous 'moral' leadership?
