This is what we are supposed to be doing with our Constitutional form of Government:

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Easier said than done even when all that is required is social morals for free.

Did you know that we have a express establishment clause for naturalization not any form of Immigration? We have a general welfare clause and a Commerce Clause, why are we losing money on foreign nationals in the US?
 
Foreign nationals in our country pay taxes and use public services including schools, healthcare, infrastructure.

That is why they are counted in the census

A very interesting series of census-related issues coming our way..this decision, to me, is probably going to go the Left's way..although I happen to fall on Trump's side of this argument. Non-citizens should not be counted in the apportionment of legislators. The precedent of allowing the slave states to count slaves for the purposes of representation is likely to come back and haunt us.
The larger picture is the vicious fight looming over how the count was taken..when it was taken..how valid it really is. At stake are a lot of issues from apportionment of funds to Gerrymandering--that are all near and dear to the pols of both sides

Any consideration of constitutional law is now irrelevant among the USSC conservatives. If their loyalty remains with the impeached president trump, it doesn't matter if the Census ruling comes before the electoral vote.

If the USSC conservatives are loyal, instead, to their party, the Census ruling could be a litmus test of only their possible loyalty to the impeached president trump.
