Hey gang, born and raised just south of Houston, and unfortunately I am a hard core fan of the NFL and my local (very average) Houston Texans. I've never ridden a horse, owned a ranch or even a cowboy hat, but I do say "ya'll" quite often. I lean conservative, but have some liberal views such as legallization of the reefer. I look forward to some good conversations and will try not to make too much of an ass of myself on the boards.

I don't get out of the state much, so I've never really heard anyone call it that. But no, it wouldn't bother me.
