Sorry, I'm calling this bullshit.

About 20 years ago, my uncle filed his taxes. He was off by one dollar. He received an audit threat in the mail if he didn't pay his taxes in full immediately.

He wrote the IRS a check for one dollar and mailed it certified mail. He made copies of everything so he could prove what the IRS really did to him.

So anyone who runs for an elected office is a "politician", according to most of the wise ones here.

So when a citizen is fed up with the doings of the local school board, or city council/county board and runs for office on one of those to try and change/improve things, they are just corrupt and out to enrich themselves at taxpayer's expense.
