Here's Why The Media Denies it Was Terrorism

Terrorism?

Yes.

Organized terrorism? Eh, I think the jury is still out, but leaning towards "no".

The only ones involved were active duty soldiers so that means everything our military does is terrorism. I also find it disconcerting that on the largest military base in the US it wasn't prepared to defend itself and had to rely on local cops to stop the attack. Now hush your self righteous cries and listen why I say that: just like we didn't close our borders after 9E this helps show why the WOT is a myth. We are using that phrase to justify our imperialism.

Local cops? LOL

Try Department of Defense Police

You really should actually try reading something about a subject before opening your trap.

Fort Hood shooting - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 43 casualties of the shooting comprised 13 dead (12 soldiers; 1 army civilian employee); 30 others with gunshot wounds were hospitalized.[1][4]

Ten of the injured were treated at Scott & White Memorial Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center in Temple, Texas.[29] Seven more wounded victims were taken to Metroplex Adventist Hospital in Killeen.[29] Eight others received hospital treatment for shock.[4] Of those wounded at least 17 are servicemembers, and at least 7 are civilians

Oh yeah, almost forgot.

I didn't support the invasion of Iraq, and Cheney is full of shit. So now that I've knocked yer strawman out of the way, you can go.

Lol..I never said you did support the invasion or cheney you super arrogant ****. No wonder you think it was legal....you can't even read short posts so how can it be expected you could read Laws?

Oh bullshit. You were attempting to imply it with yer little Cheney strawman.

Lying must come as naturally as breathing to you. Too bad you can't get away with it because of your mental deficiencies.

So anytime you want to put words in someone else's mouth you say "Well you were implying!" lol....pitiful. At least try to be original.

Oops....missed that typical bullshit the first time. It's a huge red herring to say the UN does not override US sovereignty. Nobody said it does.

Actually, you certainly implied it when you said that the war was illegal because the UN said it was so. Do you have Alzheimers or are you just that stupid. Or is it dishonesty? I'm going to go with the last 2.

When we violate our Treaty with another organization we violate our own laws.

So prove that we violated a treaty with the UN, and that such violation was illegal. And please realize that if you prove this, all it does is show that we illegally violated a treaty. Not that the military policy itself is illegal.

So go ahead, knock yerself out.

You keep spouting a lot of words, but don't have much proof. I can see you stamping your little feet from here.
But CL, CARES, so much! About the Iraqis, Afghanis, PTSD shrinks that kill young soldiers. Where is your angst? Cold, heartless, that's what the rest of us are. Imagine, being for our troops, our country. Mercy!

Typical. Demonize those you can't debate against.

Nah, these guys just have patience that I no longer seem to be able to muster against folks like you.

I have to go do my report cards, enjoy the 'debate' one-sided though it seems to be.

But CL, CARES, so much!

No, he doesn't. He's more concerned with his political position than actually caring for anyone.

You can't even read simple posts without your politics blinding you to what the words are and when you **** it up you resort to accusing others of lying. But preach on......lol. Guess you don't remember I've already seen you say you didn't support the invasion.....even if I linked those posts showing I was in the convo you'd just accuse me of hacking into USMB and changing posts. That would be a hell of a lot less painful than admitting you fucked up.

Kill 3,000 americans you get food, a bed and medical treatment along with spewing your martyrist garbage at a CIVILIAN court room in NYC. Get caught doing constructive work to help in one of those "other" countries you get kidnapped and get your head sawed off. Our standards are just fine........

You mean the hijackers survived the attacks and got medical treatment? Have you notified the FBI on their location?

Oh i forgot you're a libtard, it has to be spelled out for you. Khalid Sheik Mohammed gets the civilian court trial and Nick Berg gets his head sawed off. Cookies and punch will be served in the recess room in 10 minutes, don't be late .....

Lol. Who let you leave the kiddie table?

You accused me of caring more about iraqis than our Troops. That's demonizing. Holy shit....report cards? You're a teacher? That's scary. What is it about "folks like me" that threatens you so much?

Saddam violated the Treaty regularly, The UN obstructed Justice and failed in It's responsibility. We were within Our Rights. Fly over incidents, common threats from Saddam, Secret Oil Pipe Line to Syria, procurement of materials for weaponry.

It doesn't matter how many times he violated the UN Sanctions......they never gave any nation to act unilaterally. We violated our Treaty with the UN by invading without a UNSC Vote.

Why is it ok for you to infer my meanings, but others are not to do so to you? I said you cared more about others than Americans, not just Iraqis. America bad. Others good. We have those weapons, to use them against others. Bad.

As for 'folks like you', you keep saying the same things over and over. I guess they make you feel compassionate or something, but the depth of thought just doesn't engage. There was a time I'd bother to try and change your thinking, but I've come to realize that sometimes there is no debate possible.

I really didn't mean to insult.

Isn't that the difference, supposedly, between us and them? Isn't the whole point of terrorism to force you to change who and what you are, what you represent, what you idealize?

You're welcome to be as much like them as you want, just don't count on those of us who still believe in America to follow you.

Did you bump your ******* head or just naturally dumb ? What i said shows our guys are nothing like our enemies..........:cuckoo:

You know what happens in secret prisons? How many civilians have we killed with bombings and sanctions?

Anyone who's worked with the UN understands that they are as corrupt as the day is long.

Waiting for another vote was useless.

They refused to act so we took matters into our own hands.

Problem is we were too late to catch the UN and the Russians red-handed with the evidence.

LOL Yes they had elections, LOL Saddam or death your choice.

And you are more than a jerk if you believe that terrorism can only be conducted against civilians. Tell that to the families of those Marines that died in Beirut. Or tell that to the Families of the dead troops at Ft hood, or the survivors. They were unarmed and helpless against an attack (yes by one posing as our own) by a Muslim who had a personal business card calling himself a Soldier of Allah. This was a terrorist attack And you can shove your definition where the sun don't shine for all I care.

Hmmm....the Constitution and elections were around long before saddam was even born. You constantly soak up fear like a sponge being dropped in the ocean of propaganda designed to keep you so ******* afraid you cannot think for yourself and willing turn your autonomy over to outfits like cnn and fox news. Having SoA on his card does not mean he murdered because of Islam. But that is way way way beyond the depths of what you are capable of comprehending. Your bloodlust will not be quenched in this lifetime until you can step outside all of this fear based bullshit and try to look at the world through a lens of integrity.

You truly are a stupid bastard aren't you?
"Iraqi officials say President Saddam Hussein has won 100% backing in a referendum on whether he should rule for another seven years. "
"Saddam Hussein - who has ruled Iraq since 1979 - was the only candidate."
BBC NEWS | Middle East | Saddam 'wins 100% of vote'

So much for their elections under Saddam.

There is no fear here. I haven't shown fear since I was a child, a small child.

And you simply will not open your eyes to the evidence because to have a terrorist attack on Obamas watch is just impossible or what? I don't care nor do i (so far) blame any American for this attack other than the Major himself. But this was an attack based upon his religion and it was an attack based upon terror. Try thinking for your self for just once, I know it will be difficult to change the channel from MSNBC, but for your own sanity make the move.

What part of "Iraq had a Constitution and elections before Saddam was even born" confuses you? Read it again.

Then you bring up obama and msnbc? You bring up a ******* sell out and a bullshit msm? How ******* pathetic do you have to be to do that? I can't stand either one. You get paralyzed when you can't debate inside a Left v Right paradigm eh?

Why is it when we kill civilians it's called "collateral damage" but when a whacko targets a military base it's terrorism?

Have you studied Iraqi Elections? Obviously not.

Under the Iraqi constitution of 1925, Iraq was a constitutional monarchy, with a bicameral legislature consisting of an elected House of Representatives and an appointed Senate. The lower house was elected every four years by manhood suffrage (that is, women did not vote). The first Parliament met in 1925. Ten general elections were held before the overthrow of the monarchy in 1958. The electoral system, however, was manipulated by the King and his advisors, who were Sunni Muslims, to ensure that the Shi'a majority were prevented from taking power.

Between 1958 and 2003 Iraq was ruled by a series of military regimes, all dominated by Iraqi Arabs, particularly after the emergence of the Ba'ath Party in the early 1960's. Under the regime of Saddam Hussein, who came to power in 1979, Kurds were persecuted. Furthermore, Arabs who were non-Ba'athist or non-Arab inclined (most notably those of Shi'ite faith) were also persecuted. Saddam's regime was largely run by Arabs from Tikrit (a mainly Sunni area), his home region. On October 16, 2002, after a well-publicized show election, Iraqi officials declared that Saddam had been re-elected to another seven-year term as President by a 100% unanimous vote of all 11,445,638 eligible Iraqis, eclipsing the 99.96% received in 1995. The United States and others outside Iraq said the vote lacked any credibility. Stories later surfaced stating that voting was compulsory and that the "yes" box had already been checked for voters in advance.

Some history of Free elections there. MMM MMMM MMMM

The UN being corrupt doesn't give us a license to ignore the laws. There is corruption in our government so does that mean we should ignore US laws?

Why did we need to invade? Cheney said on 9/16/01 Saddam was not a threat.

What have I inferred?

You did not explain the "folks like you" phrase but simply said debate is not possible. I will say the same things until they get addressed and nobody forces you to read my posts. The bulk of your responses lately are childishly personal. That usually happens when you don't like what you are reading but also don't know how to respond.
