Here's why the Maga base became obsessed with the Epstein files.

More so than Trump now, yes.

Now that people are laughing at him, I think he will implode.
We will see, didn’t you believe there was no border crisis in the spring of 2021? And you probably believed if you took the Covid shot you couldn’t get Covid. Did you believe there was Hunter Biden laptop was fake as well?

Seems like you fell for lots of lies, you are just like Trump supporters.

It's very well thought out.

And abuse is tied to isolation, geographical and psychological.

You need to sit down, because the Trump train wreck is coming down the track.

Someone somewhere knows and will drop the dime on Trump.

Of course it is. Work on your literacy.
Work on your own literacy. If you think that's well thought, you have a problem.

It's probably TDS, there'a a lot of that going round among leftists.

Who's Price?
Leontyne Price? One of the best ever seen. Actually heard. She could break glass.
Peak Western Civilization right there! Oh definitely.
No racism. She was the best ever. Best trained and talented.
Like Segovia and Charo with the guitar.

We are going to find out, are we not. Even Loony Loomer is telling him to have DOJ appoint special counsel and let the chips fall where the may. Patel and Bongino seem to agree.
Maybe. But the more the Democrats cheer, the more MAGA will support their dear leader reflexively. It's already happening. In the two-party cesspool, the truth is simply the opposite of what the "other side" claims.

John Edgar Slow Horses But they are not supporting "dear leader reflexively."

That's the point. They are yelling at him louder and louder.

I did not write this, but it seem well thought out and reasonable enough.

The gist is that trump's flipflop on the Epstein thing is upsetting his none to bright followers and why.

Read on:

A lot was made in 2016 about the fact that Taco brought out a whole army of voters who never voted before. There's a reason for that.

Much of the maga base is not smart. Typical topics that dominate a presidential election are not things they think about a lot. Taco will mess with the geopolitical balance? "What's a geopolitical balance?" They're going to take away entitlements? "Great! Get those deadbeats off the rolls! As long as no one messes with my food stamps!" Taco is getting rid of undocumented immigrants? "Great! Someone told me they've taken all the good jobs, and my job sucks, so ..."

There is a reason why they decided we look down on them. We didn't, of course. We never gave them much thought before 2016, just as we never expected them to give us much thought. But they really do think about us. Because they look down on themselves. A lot. And rather than admit that, it's easier for them to project that emotion onto us. And if we didn't look down on them before 2016, we certainly do now.

But child abuse? That they can understand. Most of them live in more rural areas. The incidence of child abuse is higher in rural areas, and that's the reported cases. https://scholars.unh.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1169&context=carsey It's logical to assume that more cases go unreported in isolated areas with fewer services, so it's possible the incidence is MUCH higher in rural areas.

So they get this. Many probably have experienced this. It doesn't confuse them. But it pisses them off on the same visceral level as it pisses us off. And a guy who promises to expose it, who even magnifies and distorts the incidence of it, builds them up and makes them feel like they're fighting the good fight against this terrible thing that may be very close to them. So they're going to follow that guy.

And now it looks like that guy is one of the guilty ones. Can you imagine what that must be doing to them emotionally?
I’ve had other leftwingers like you ask me what I think about what Epstein did. I tell them I condemn it in no uncertain terms. I then ask them what they think, and they say ā€œOh, I agreeā€, and then the conversation kind of falls apart from there. Kind of like yours did.

I think it's unlikely that most Trump supporters live in rural areas. Only 1 in 5 Americans live in rural areas, while 80% of the population live in urban centers:

This sounds just like rhetoric designed to paint everyone who voted for Trump as "rural" or "hackneyed".

Well, when "Pizzagate" was a meme, it was declared a conspiracy theory. Now it seems like conspiracy theories regarding Trump being connected to "elite pedophilies" are a la mode.

I'm aware that Trump was close to Epstein, but given how drastically opinions fluctuate regarding alleged scandals such as these, I remain skeptical.

Not at all. Because if trump releases the files he is good with half of MAGA and not with the other half. And if he does not, he's got the reverse.

It's fun watching the MAGAt bus headed for the cliff's edge.

MAGA doesn’t care. It’s just leftwing wishful thinking.

That's why 83% what the files released, Since MAGA is about 35% of the voters, that means 1/2 of them want those files release, which will piss the other half off.

Nobody cares. The guy is long dead Anything to distract from your 19% approval rating. Everyone hates Democrats. Let’s just shut the party down; then ban it. They are a cancer.
