I've run into this, but it usually reads that it's 8 or 10 seconds that I have to wait. 116 seconds? Strange sh*t indeed.....

Same here. I have no idea why it's happening and I feel the need to say again that I am not joking around about this.

I KNOW you're not joking because it's happened to me quite a bit. Especially when I attempt to make a post right after the preceding one.

Yep, same here earlier this morning. I hit reply to a post and got a message that said, Oops we ran into a problem ( the rest of it didn't say what yours did it said something to the effect....you can't post to this. I tried to post 3 more times after hitting reply and it said the same thing. I moved to another OP and was able to post!

I remember seeing that when I was posting stupid one word posts at a very rapid rate.. You're not doing THAT are you?? LOL...

Seriously, I've seen a speedometer come up when I'm posting TOO quickly.. It's RARE.. It may be metering during times the server is being maintained, or it may be an effort to prevent spammers from totally papering the site or other malicious attacks..

You were going 94 in a school zone dude.. Not cool... If it REALLY bugs you -- I could look up the warning in the Xenforo manual...

I've noticed a couple things that say the system might be running slow.. In another thread, member complained about not seeing "likes" bar on post he just made.. I've seen that also.. Returns in about 10 or 15 seconds if you refresh..

So --- others are not really getting speeding tickets like this as often.. It's still related to your time between posts... But MAYBE -- the system is struggling a bit as the ads are being back or they are still doing "unscheduled" maintenance..
