Here is a matter I'm sure we can all agree on.

Dotard just put a 50% tariff on India. Why? Because it buys Russian oil. He raised tariffs on Canada. Why? It supports a Palestinian state. He put a 50% tariff on Brazil. Why? It is prosecuting his fellow insurrectionist.

Conclusion; Dotard is using tariffs as a punitive measure against countries who have policies he doesn't like.........not to balance the trade playing field.

The policy Trump doesnt like being buying oil from russia.

How do you square that fact with the claims that trump is a russian asset, trump wants to have putin's love child, putin provided prostitutes to pee on trump's bed, etc.?

I don't concern myself with such distractions. Even though you are trying to change the subject.............as always.

Are you in favor of Dotard using tariffs as a means to punish countries he has policy differences with? How is that going to achieve his stated goal of bringing manufacturing jobs back to the US?

I understand consistency is not important to you.

Not all policy differences. Giving money to the invaders of Ukraine? Pretty big difference.

Did you see the news about Apple?

There was a time when judges could be counted on to be impartial. That situation no longer exists.
SCOTUS still is.
Conservative "Originalists" are needed to keep things sane and in order. Judicial activism creates chaos.

Look at this case:

This SCOTUS certainly isn’t impartial

Dobbs is testimony to that

Yeah there's a couple of different influences.
You have fundamentalism, you have political party affiliation and you also have overall postmodern progressivism.

I don't know where you could find a judicial nominee that doesn't have some affect related to one of those influences. Probably not on this continent.

Internal DOJ messages bolster claim that Trump judicial nominee spoke of defying court orders

A fired Justice Department attorney has provided Congress with a trove of emails and text messages to corroborate his claims that a controversial Trump judicial nominee — top DOJ official Emil Bove — crudely discussed defying court orders.

The newly-released messages reinforce claims by whistleblower Erez Reuveni that Bove played a key role in a decision by Trump administration immigration officials to turn scores of Venezuelan immigrants over to El Salvador’s government despite a U.S. judge’s order not to do so.

The messages show increasing alarm among Justice Department lawyers that the administration had in fact defied court orders and that some officials — including a prominent DOJ lawyer brought on by the Trump administration — could face sanctions for misleading the courts.

Bove has said that he never advised anyone to violate court orders. DOJ and the Department of Homeland Security did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

There is documentary evidence substantiating Reuveni's accusations against Bove. He did what Reuveni claimed he did. He told DoJ attorneys to ignore court orders.

Here is what we should all be able to agree on. Bove has disqualified himself from consideration as an appellate court judge. We obviously can't have judges sitting on the federal bench who directed DoJ subordinates to ignore court orders.
Trump has complied with every court ruling

Trump has complied with every court ruling
They underestimate how smart he is. Just because he comes across as a boisterous charlatan.... A definite widespread trait of New York born and bred businessmen..... Doesn't mean he doesn't know exactly what he's doing.

You think Trump is rude and crude???? you should hear the stories about Mike Bloomberg.

His nomination drew opposition from over seventy-five former state and federal judges and over nine hundred former Department of Justice attorneys.

So who to believe that he would be a good judge, actual judges and attorneys who observed his actions or Donald Trump ?

It is clear that Trump just follows the Republican map

where others in the judicial system doubt his abilities as a judge.

Versus Ketanji Brown Jackson who is stupid even for a subhuman.

But DEI often rules with no one brave enough to step up and say it.

Every Republican senator, with the exception of Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski, voted to confirm him, while every Democratic senator opposed his nomination.

Seems like some are steping up
Once a judge rules then it is up to the next level of the court system to overturn the decision. They do not need to make public statements.

You’re getting hysterical, little Missy.

So?

Trump's nomination drew opposition from millions of people, but he was elected anyway. It's a big country, so drawing hundreds of critics is indicative of nothing.

What exactly do you think is wrong with him, other than Trump chose him after the voters choose Trump?

It is clear that Trump just follows the Republican map
He rewards loyalty. The fact that Bove told DoJ subordinates to disobey court orders to advance the goals of the regime is just gravy.
