I get the feeling Tipsycatlover is a city-slicker and hasn't ever been involved in harvesting crops of any kind ... least of all how things are done in the California Central Valley ... relying on YouTube videos instead of actual back-breaking experience picking the ripened fruit leaving the rest to another day ... the watermelons next door to our walnut ranch had to be gone through three times as the melons became ready ...
