RT is funded by the Russian government:

It's not hard to understand but it seems that hatred has gotten in the way of common sense these days. It's no freaking secret that the CIA has been in the business of trying to influence foreign elections to get a better deal for the U.S. for over half a century. Obviously they didn't do too well over the decades but that's another story. Foreign powers like China and Russia and the European Union are likewise committed to trying to influence U.S. elections for their own purposes. Nobody ever made a case that the actual physical voting was skewed although angry lefties tend to blur the distinction on purpose for political purposes. It's all about propaganda in the media, social networks, advocate groups and political stooges. The intent is to disrupt the social and political structure of the United States and the ironic thing is that while democrats rant about "collusion" they are the ones working on behalf of foreign powers to undermine the results of a lawful election.
