State's rights should be honored unless they start bleeding the rest of the states. If Nevada wants prostitution, drugs, and gambling and the people support it, that's good. If it starts to be creating a problem for the other states, like crime or depending on federal grants to survive, then the feds must step in. If New York or California want to tax the shit out of its residents to cater to illegals and homeless in order to gain seats in the house, we should let them until they start burdening the other states' taxpayers. If they start exporting their stupidity like licensing illegals to drive transports or fleecing the Medicare and snap programs, some accounting is needed.

No. If New York wants to disarm their people, they should be able to try it. like they are now. The states are also obligated to abide by the Constitution. The Bill of Rights limits the Federal's power, not the peoples. No State has the authority to ignore the Constitution. If a state has a business model of fraud, corruption, voting irregularities, sanctioning criminal behavior, I think that if the citizens support it, that is their business, but federal laws still apply. It is a subject that can be manipulated, but it really isn't that complicated, except the scotus has made a mess of it with their "this" outweighs "that" crap.
