Lets see. Romney picks Ryan as running mate. Ryans's signature issue is his budget, a budget that has actually been passed by the house. Romney says he is not running on the Ryan budget and has already done much to disavow it. Gently.

So why did he pick Ryan? It looks an awful lot like conservative election plan of the last 50 years. You throw red meat to the conservative knuckledraggers. Should you be elected you throw those same knuckledraggers under the bus and govern for the wealthy.

Fortunately presidents don't get to declare their own budgets law so if the gop wins both houses and pass a budget similar to Ryan's what's he gonna do? Veto it? I don't think so.
