Hellfire R9X (AGM-114R9X) is a recently designed version of Hellfire that greatly reduces risks of other casualties by having no explosive charges, instead relying on six blades that extend which ginsu anyone in a soft target like a car. It has been used very sparingly and speculation is it's employed by CIA not USAF.

They just took out a minivan in Syria using the weapon killing Abu Ahmad al-Muhajir, a foreign trainer for a terrorist group.

Here is some guesswork someone threw together on how the Hellfire R9X deploys on terminal approach, and an image from another known strike from the weapon that killed Abu Khayr al-Masri, deputy leader of Al-Qaeda.

I remember the first time I saw this brand. It was a car rented in Miami, and aside from the poor quality, I couldn't help but think no one would buy such a name.
