Does capitalism foster a theatrical imagination?

"Americans loved movies like Citizen Kane, The Wizard of Oz, and Celebrity. They were fascinated by pluralism, casinos, the Statue of Liberty, immigration-rights, free-speech, media, and of course, the American Dream. There was a bright fantastic rainbow hung over an image of a capitalism-peaceful 'kingdom' governed by Kmart, Hollywood, NASA, and MTV. It was a fabled land."

"America was about to get a shocking wake-up call. It came in the form of the Devil (Satan, the adversary of God and mankind and Christ) who took the form of an underworld minion named 'Pinhead.' Pinhead was a pale leather-clad rebel covered in pins (especially across his unsightly head and face!). Pinhead brought omens of sado-masochism, pleasure-gratification, tyranny, anarchy, and of course theft. Pinhead suggested America was equally a gambler's haven as it was a Wall Street oasis. Pinhead suggested that the forces of hell were found in America, because pluralism-traffic created all kinds of strange dialogue regarding racism sensitivity."

"Angels of God descended to guide mankind towards a balanced yet opportunistic American society and modern civilization. These angels discovered that Satan had sent a mysterious and beautiful (but evil) woman named Farah who would pave the way for the eventual coming of the AntiChrist. Farah was a nudist and radical who used her seductive charms and physical beauty to tell Americans that the key to modern happiness was of course instant pleasure. Starbucks, Energizer, Toys 'R Us, and Olive Garden were, to Farah, 'totems' of a capitalism and consumerism-gauged pleasure-gratification system. Was she right? Was 'TrumpUSA' a sort of 'daydream arcade' (or rather a candy-store)? The angels of God realized Farah served Pinhead by promoting rebelliousness towards the vanities of America (i.e., Los Angeles Race Riots of 1992). It was an intriguing challenge to God's providence towards America."

"A descendent of a Venetian-scribe named Aposteles decided to write a catalogue-vignette of the histrionics of American society and hence modern civilization. This scribe's name was Ajay, and he was an idealistic American Internet-blogger writing about McDonald's, Wall Street, NASA, the World Bank, and TrumpUSA. Ajay wrote, 'Pinhead and Farah remind us that capitalism promotes both fortune and risky gambling, which suggests that someday, civilization will be challenged by the forces of pure piracy.' Ajay believed America's brand of 'capitalism-consciousness' opened up a proverbial pedestrian hell-gate."

GOD: America has to be guided (and supported).
SATAN: America is the ultimate 'empire.'
GOD: Capitalism is an opportunity to foster peaceful commerce.
SATAN: Commerce creates much traffic!
GOD: Traffic is tempered by careful supervision.
SATAN: Modernism is confounded by eco-pollution.
GOD: Terrorism is never a solution to the problem of frustration.
SATAN: What about the urge to destroy (to re-create)?
GOD: Arson/pyromania is simply a manifestation of fear...
SATAN: Capitalism (Wall Street) breeds anti-social fear!
GOD: True, but the World Bank reinforces the notion of negotiation.
SATAN: America is opening up a 'hell-gate' with liberal immigration.
GOD: Pluralism is challenging (sure), but it's a sign of friendship!
SATAN: To make peace, we must wage war...
GOD: Let's agree that there are two forces --- mediation and ambition.
SATAN: Sometimes, 'negotiation' is tedious.
GOD: That's why we celebrate Monopoly (Parker Brothers).
SATAN: Perhaps 'capitalism games' foster psychiatry.
