Hegseth vows to “take no quarter”

Senator Mark Kelly calls out Sec of Defense Hegseth for claiming US will take no quarter against Iran.

Sounds like an unlawful order.

No quarter" means refusing to show mercy, spare lives, or take prisoners during conflict.

According to the International Committee of the Red Cross database of international humanitarian law, "the prohibition on declaring that no quarter will be given is a long-standing rule of customary international law already recognized in the Lieber Code, the Brussels Declaration and the Oxford Manual and codified in the Hague Regulations."

Hegseth did not declare "no quarter" as a direct order to the U.S. military during the press conference. Giving that order is considered a war crime under modern international law.
/----/ Where was this so-called "International Law" when Iran was, and still is, slaughtering thousands of protestors, lobbing missiles into neighboring countries, and treating women like cattle?

Lefties only apply international law to white people. Brown people get a pass.

Well…..it kinda works like this

What if Iran had captured those two pilots and declared that since the U.S. had declared “no quarter”, they would not either?

You reap what you sow
