I don't support the blanket pardon of criminals. I also don't support giving Draconian prison sentences to people because of their political beliefs. One of the pillars of our legal system is the banning of "selective prosecution"! Would you like to explain why the idiots that rioted on Jan. 6th should be getting sentenced to YEARS in prison while the idiots that riot against ICE have gotten slaps on the wrist? Some people get life for things that take them seconds to do. Swing and a miss with that point.
You need to stop clumping people together into groups. If a rioter committed a crime and was found guilty in court then they should be punished. ANTIFA or MAGA. If you support the blanket pardon of criminals then you dont stand for law and order
Have you not watched what's happened in Portland for months, Slade? The local Police aren't allowed to respond to any reported "demonstrations" at the Federal facility by order of the Mayor of Portland. Antifa can do whatever they want and the Democratic leaders of that city and State won't touch them.I must have missed the memo where Trump reached out for coordination and support. Can you provide details on that?
I never said one crime excuses another. What I pointed out is that there hasn't been equal justice applied to similar crimes and that's been going on for some time now.Don’t need to compare. That’s a cop out. Crimes are crimes one crime doesn’t excuse another. Where are your principles?
Nope, leftists **** around they find out.Don’t be so hyperbolic. These exaggerated characterizations don’t excuse the authoritarian actions of our executive
Look at it this way - there are many law abiding citizens whose lives have been destroyed because their city/state governments refuse to protect them and maintain order.it amazes me to see so many so called conservatives cheer on an authoritarian federal government and completely dismiss principles of states rights. Just shows the cult like influence Trump has over his people
You want to allow abuse of power by these partisan judges because that’s how it was done 100 years ago? That’s been part of our legal system since its inception. It’s why it was set up the way it is you want to now start demonizing and expelling judges. Wow man. Yall are loosing it. Turn the temp down on the commie dial, this shit is getting out of control
Why, isn't it the State Police who protect it under the Constitution?the protection of federal agents, ICE officers and ICE detention centers falls under the preview of the feds ..
It really doesn't matter anymore BillAnd what "freedoms" is ANTIFA fighting for, exactly?
What Article are your referring to? Hint: there is none. Why, isn't it the State Police who protect it under the Constitution?
Saying “the left does it” is a cop out and does not excuse you doing it. If you think it’s wrong then uphold that principle and stop doing it.I don't support the blanket pardon of criminals. I also don't support giving Draconian prison sentences to people because of their political beliefs. One of the pillars of our legal system is the banning of "selective prosecution"! As for "clumping people together"? Are you kidding me, Slade? That's all the left does these days! Identity politics is your THING!
That's the way it's supposed to work, but we see people perfectly willing to toss that aside when it suits them, no? Why else the freakout when states were given the authority to legislate abortion access for themselves? Why else the demand that all states follow federal gun laws?I thought a republic gives our States sovereignty? They govern themselves....? It limits federal power over the States, no?
There is precedent for the federal government protecting federal assets within a state. The Constitution grants specific powers to the states and to the federal government. Trump is overstepping his Constitutional powers and should be impeached for it.
Those 'rioters' against ICE are locally protesting against a policy. The insurgents on 6Jan21 tried to overturn a legitimate election, threatened to hang the Vice-President, and invaded our Capital building and shit all over it. Of course, MAGAts just cannot see the difference. LOLI don't support the blanket pardon of criminals. Don’t put words in my my mouth. I never agreed with you that it was abuse of power. I even stipulated that if there was abuse of power then they should be held accountable. My argument was that our system was set up in a way where judges from various states that may hold different interpretations of law could make ruling and those ruling could be challenged and overturned or withheld. It isn’t a crime when a judgement gets overturned. You’re being far too hyperbolicYou want to allow abuse of power by these partisan judges because that’s how it was done 100 years ago?
That’s no reason to allow half-baked judges who are ignorant of the law to remain as judges
It should be a deadline fault for the partisan political judge who makes unlawful decisionsIt isn’t a crime when a judgement gets overturned. You’re being far too hyperbolic

I havent seen any reports about police not being able to respond to rioting or violence. I’ve actually seen the opposite where Portland police are making arrests for any protests that get violent. Can you show an example report of what you’re talking about ?Have you not watched what's happened in Portland for months, Slade? The local Police aren't allowed to respond to any reported "demonstrations" at the Federal facility by order of the Mayor of Portland.
