Actually, I worked for the Dept of DEFENSE for 40 years and personally briefed and worked for many Generals.
I also worked with several Majors and LTCs who rose to the rank of General.

When I started in the late 70s, General Officers were exclusively white males. By the time I retired in 2018, I had worked for several black, female and Hispanic Generals and found them to be highly competent.

Our Generals deserve better than to work for an empty suit like Hesketh
