You shall see. This drug will make a huge difference in outcomes as it slows the replication in the body and allows the immune system to wipe it out. I don't care if you or other ignorant Democrats get it or not. As long as the ignorant group doesn't win in 2020, it won't matter much.

And that's where your real concern lies isn't it? Not in seeing people get better. Just getting everything back to "normal" so Trump has something to run on in November. Blew the response to the virus, thousands of people dead, millions out of work, economy in the tank. He can't tout a great economy while it's largely in ruins or hold his little pep rallies while everything is shut down. But airlift this wonder drug to everybody and send them back to work. MAGA. What we really need to do is use the tools we have, such as testing the people who recovered from this to make sure they will be immune to it in the future. Those people can return to work. They are also saying that drawing blood from those people and infusing it in others is a way to immune them as well.

Some people who never caught the virus are immune anyway. They can find those people by testing. They will be able to return to work.

Unfortunately, we don't have near the testing capacity. Something that will need to be done in large quantities if you are going to send anyone back to work any time soon.

I got the COVID-19 was tested and now I am immune. You want antibodies testing but we also know that washing ones hands and not touching ones face you can escape the virus. The virus is easily killed by soap and sanitizer. We can go back but just be smarter. Never had a fever with mine but some fatigue and chest pain. Did help me drop 15lbs in 2 weeks as I did not have an appetite.

We do not have years. The virus is here and killing people daily. His response and daily briefings have been excellent and his approval ratings reflect that.

I watch the news every day as well as post here. And I know desperation when I smell it. A desperate bid to save Trump's chances in November. Yes, these drugs have been around for years....and are approved to treat certain conditions..which there is a plethora of data for detailing their benefits..after years of research and testing. The FDA took the rails down and doctors are free to prescribe these drugs if they believe they will help the patient. The drug has shown promise in treating infected patients. But taking something that has shown promise in a small group (relatively speaking) and extrapolating that out to say it works for everyone is dangerous. Doctors prescribe medications and decide if they are appropriate. Not politicians or right wing media figures.

Doctors and hospitals have records of who had Covid. They are experimenting now with plasma treatment where if you were cured for more than three weeks, they can take your blood and infuse it into other people making them immune. It should be given to first responders first, and then high risk people such as myself. If we don't have a vaccine by then, keep giving it to people who are older to younger.
