I agree. Dr Fauci's idea of a shutdown until no new cases appear is insane. He was speaking from a medical utopian perspective with no grounding in reality. We've already been shafted by the "expert" whose original models projected millions of deaths from CV-19.

Yea, the problem with the “shutdown until” is even if we get to the point of little or no new cases, we still have illegals crossing the border and people traveling in and out of the US. The virus will keep coming back.

Once we get medical supplies and facilities ramped up to take care of more people, the “shutdown” needs to be lifted.

I think we should close down international travel for at least a year. We can get back to near normal when we have enough N-95 masks to go around for all the public.

Yes, it is about politics. That's why everybody on the right here is for the use of it and everybody on the left against it. Like I said, if Trump was against allowing the use of it for COVID, and Piglosi was for it, everybody here on the left would be singing the praises of hydroxychloroquine. Why? Of the physicians surveyed, 3,308 said they had either ordered a COVID-19 test or been involved in caring for a coronavirus patient, and 2,171 of those responded to the question asking which medications were most effective.

The survey also found that the most commonly prescribed treatments are analgesics (56%), azithromycin (41%) and hydroxychloroquine (33%).

“Outside the U.S., hydroxychloroquine was equally used for diagnosed patients with mild to severe symptoms whereas in the U.S. it was most commonly used for high risk diagnosed patients,” the survey found.

nothing in your post is true. It is available in large quantities, there have been controlled verified studies proving that it works. Doctors are using it and it is saving lives.
