This is the type of propaganda we are seeing all the time in television......anti gun crap that is innaccurate and full of lies.....and we have to see it directed into our homes...

Did 'Everytown' Anti-Gun Group Pen 'Hawaii Five-O' Mass Shooting Episode?

The folks behind "Hawaii Five-O" couldn't have written a more anti-gun episode than the recent “Ke Ku ‘Ana."

That's assuming they wrote it all by themselves.

The show in question featured a mass shooting by a disturbed young man. The man's father, distraught at his son's actions, takes his vengeance out on those "gun nuts" and the powerful political players who won't do more to stop gun violence.

What follows is dialogue that sounds more like an anti-NRA ad than a network TV show, according to Newsbusters.org. Here's a sample:

Father of the shooter: The gun industry can stop it; they choose not to! The gun industry doesn't police itself. The politicians don't do their jobs. And on it goes, and on and on and on! It's got to end!

Danny (Scott Caan): I agree with you 100%, okay? I am a cop. I am outraged at how easy it is to get a gun, no questions asked. As a father, I'm even more outraged.

As Newsbusters points out, the killer obtained the gun in question illegally. So it's hard to blame those evil NRA types or the politicians allegedly in the group's pocket for this crime.

The killer broke the law. People died.

Should we chalk it up to another anti-gun lecture from Hollywood? It's not that simple. Earlier this year, we learned the anti-gun group Everytown for Gun Safety is directly involved in some of the shows you watch on TV and streaming sites.

Well, relax. One episode of a cop show goes anti-NRA.
I watched the first two episodes of the new MacGyver to see how it would compare to the old one. In the original series, Mac never carried a gun and he seldom killed anyone. All the bad guys got up after falling down.
In the new series, six people got shot in the first episode. It's bristling with weapons by Mac's #2 (which didn't exist in the old series).
It was a STEM show for kids in the first make, a little ahead of its time. The 2016 version is just as you like it, Guy. Don't worry about Hollywood. They're on your side.

Do you really? I tuned out half way through episode 2.
I got a kick out of the original. Save the world with chewing gum and a swiss army knife. Bad acting and terrible scripts, but the STEM stuff was clever.

that one was too boring for me....the new one puts them in these unbelievable situations that no one but James Bond can get out of....love it....but whenever i get into a show it gets canceled....so this one will be gone before too long....

I disapprove of this!

I watched the first episode of the new series and decided they had managed to destroy all that was cool about it. So, yeah........I am shocked you allowed that into your home to begin with. So, disappointed. What's next, 2? Reruns of the Kardashians?
