The Egyptians and Babylonians imploded. Only the Western Roman Empire collapsed, the Eastern continued to thrive and evolve. The Spanish suffered worse under the Moors and, later, Franco. The Germans are on the rise....again.

Rome is a fucking joke; an absolute total joke. They once ruled the entire civilized world, look at them now. The same with Egypt, the more time passes the more irrelevant these nations become. This is Germany's high water mark and it's not much of a mark at all

It's no coincidence that these nations are all shells of their former selves.
