I don't believe in Jesus, but shadow people left me alone when I had a witness, a slightly slow guy who I worked with. I had seen them in there for weeks. One day we were working together side-by-side and I saw one run from our department door to area by the boss's desk. Turned out my coworker saw it too as was startled. I asked him what he saw and he described it exactly. I never saw it in there again. Guess it didn't like getting busted, Jesus or no Jesus! Maybe it's purpose was to make me think I was losing my mind, but when there was a 2nd witness it's plans were shattered.

Not ghostly but I have twice been in the presence of such evil that I had to withdraw from the scene.
