I was put under citizen’s arrest by my MiL once, her claims were so absurd that the cops booked me and released me OR, I never saw the inside of a cell. The DA dropped the charges the next day.

No but I fought a traffic ticket at the magistrate once. I looked like such a tiny schoolteacher the magistrate actually said, "Ma'am, I can tell you're in severe violation of the law"....and people laughed
