Have politics become so polarizing that we now look like a Republican or look like a Democrat?

Does your ‘look’ reflect how you vote or does how you vote reflect your look?
I often play a goofy game with my wife and daughters where we’ll guess a strangers political affiliation based on physical appearance, we generally make the same guess. Obviously we’re not usually able to confirm our presumptions.
So, do we look like how we vote these days, has it got to that point?

Sigh.... The two party system is pure poison to this nation.

I know for sure that Ted Nugent, Kid Rock, and Hulk Hogan look like Democrats to me.

I would hope that is not the case.

It's a phenomenon as old as humanity itself. Rivalries, wars, competition, tribes, factions, religions, politics...

It's only natural that simple opposition devolves into hatred.

Why? Because it's easier to hate than agree. It's easier to fight than to coexist and work together. It's easier to argue than to listen. It's easier to label someone than see them as an equal. It's easier to look down on someone than see them eye to eye.

This behavior is hardwired into the human psyche. For 500 thousand years it has existed in one form or another.

I completely believe this

My nephew, fresh out of college has been struggling to land a job here in Mexifornia.
I told him he looks too white, too normal, too heterosexual, too put together…Too Republican.
I suggested he shave one half of his head, dye it green, get a neck tattoo and a nose piercing, soften up his voice a bit and wear pajama pants to interviews.
Should I assume most conducting interviews share Harpy Eagle ‘s position in that unconventional is so much better than conventional?

Yep that'll do it

If you live in a box on the street with a needle in your arm you might lean towards voting for a democrat.

If you would like me I promise free needles! Free refills! Rain proof cardboard boxes! No prosecution if you steal food.
No prosecution if you force yourself sexually on anybody over nine!

Most of the normal folks are Independents like me.
