Hate is bad? It is at the Superbowl.

Good example Swift and TRUMP have both expressed they hate each other. I'm sure TRUMP would have had no problem making such an ad with Swift.
Do you think Swift could put her hate of TRUMP aside?

Wow. That would have been HUGE. And a powerful and healthy message for the nation as a whole.

But, the left, they seem to want to hate us.... would Taylor Swift not just be thrown under the bus?

I hate retarded people who put socks on their head instead of their feet.
I hate people who put diapers on their ears!

The fact that BOTH MAJOR PARTIES, have been in agreement on equality for racial minorities, since the mid 60

Yes, neither party stood up for those peacefully kneeling over the issues minorities were experiencing. Democrats ended up giving some token support but really did little.

is a pretty strong sign that America as a whole is on board with it.

That is my claim. It is certainly worthy of discussion.

But, you, and every other lefty,

I am pro-life.

I support fully the 2nd Amendment.

I support balancing the budget.

I support the Electoral college.

I support leaving the Supreme Court at 9.

I condemned the Democrats "Russian" lies.

What makes me a "lefty"?

keeps wanting to jump away from it, and jump around, flitting from issue to issue, so that they can take isolated stories or factoids, often ones that very weakly support their position at all, and if challenged at all, either jump again, or stonewall.

That is the behavior of a large group of people that KNOWS that they position they have been forced into supporting, is complete bs.

If it was proven that I was right on this, can you name one policy that it would require you to change on?

You aren't right.

All the trillions spent, the massive sacrifices made in the name of helping racial minorities, it is "Very little"?

Wow. Way to shit all over mlk, and everyone before you who actually fought real racism, back when racism actually fought back.

You aren't right.

And again, you fail to address my serious reply to you.

I ask you again, if you admitted the consensus on equality and dropped this shtick about the gop or America being "Racist",

can you name ONE issue or policy it would require you to change your position on?

I fail to agree with you. You didn't answer my question either.

My statements were clearly not simply about the GOP. Feeling guilty?

can you name ONE issue or policy it would require you to change your position on?

I don't even have any idea what you are asking.

She never did this. I provided the quote from Trump. Can you from Swift?

Just so were clear are you implying the only way to express hatred is by saying the exact words "I hate _____"?

No, make an argument based upon her words that she is even implying she hates Trump.

I fail to agree with you. You didn't answer my question either.
my point was not about you agreeing with me.

What was your question?

My statements were clearly not simply about the GOP. Feeling guilty?

Sorry, the... narrative I get from teh left is so... standard... that it tends to blur together.

Regardless my point stands. it is silly to pretend that America is systemically racist against racial minorities.

I don't even have any idea what you are asking.

It's a pretty simple ask.

IF, you were to admit that America is not generally or systemically racist, can you name one political issue or policy that that would require you to change your side on?

I noted my positions and asked what made me a "lefty".

I can't admit that. Now we have made some strides in addressing issues that minorities experience with law enforcement. That has helped.

But it still makes far too many upset that law enforcement is being held accountable for violating people's rights.

I noted my positions and asked what made me a "lefty".

Oh, none of those things, are what makes you a lefty. It is more your anti-Americanism and your style of "debate".

THey both scream lefty.

I can't admit that. Now we have made some strides in addressing issues that minorities experience with law enforcement. That has helped.

...

I didn't ask you to admit it. I asked you IF you were to admit it, what if any impact would it have on you, politically speaking.

This bit where you are pretending not understand a simple question to evade a political point that you realize greatly undermines your political side,

That, btw, is a huge lefty thing. Lefties do that, like they breath. CONSTANTLY.

A fair and equal justice system makes me anti-American in your mind. Sad.

I didn't ask you to admit it. I asked you IF you were to admit it, what if any impact would it have on you, politically speaking.

Likely none. There are far too many other issues as to why I support neither party.

My side? LOL

That, btw, is a huge lefty thing. Lefties do that, like they breath. CONSTANTLY.

LOL I asked you to clarify. You did. I answered.

.... Dirt gets on your shoes, and you track it in the house. Then you have to keep cleaning it up. ...

That's why you take your shoes off before you step into the house.

....

....

OK. That is a huge admission from you, thank you.

So, if the "Racism" you talk about, has no political effect on YOU, and it does nothing but piss off the people you talk to about it, thus, making them less open to anything you have to say on the issues,

Why do you need it? Or want it? Why not ignore it, and just focus on those issues?

Because it's not what this country is supposed to be.

The City I grew up in is very liberal, and of course, “sustainable”. So, I have no doubt that Tom Bady’s anti-hate ad with Snoop Dog was received with open arms. Who spent millions on a Superbowl ad campaigning against hate? We all know hate is a bad thing and we try not to do it. Even the Bible says not to succumb to it. Even the Jewish faith is against it. So, who paid Tom Brady and Snoop Dog who already have millions in their bank accounts to stand there and say hate is bad? Now, that could have been a backhanded, veiled reference to the current occupant of the White House, but let’s leave that there for now.

I would like to see an expensive Superbowl ad campaigning against something relevant and tangible that no one likes. How about dirt? No one likes dirt especially in places that have winter. Dirt gets on your shoes, and you track it in the house. Then you have to keep cleaning it up. I know it’s against the bible, but I really “hate” dirt and so does my wife. Imagine rich and famous celebrities at the Superbowl saying dirt is bad. I guess that would make as much sense as lining your pockets with advertising gold to say hate is bad. Right?

Just a thought.

The last line from snoop was an additional unsupported claim. Who the fuck said that their caterwauling about “hate” is needed?

There are some hateful people out there. That’s true. But the ad wouldn’t make the slightest impact on those shitbags. And for anyone else, it’s of no significance. If I don’t hate anyone based on race in the first place, then I certainly don’t need to be told not to hate based on race.

The “ad” serves no purpose other than virtue signaling and an ongoing propaganda effort to denigrate Americans.

Because it's not what this country is supposed to be.

People are done being lectured about racism. YOu are never going to convince anyone, that they are racist.

Now, POLICIES, a policy that you think is unfair becuase of racism, if you argue agains it, by calling those that support it, racist, all you are doing is making them more angry and making them hate you more.

BUT, if you argue the unfairness of the policy, or the weaknesses of a policy, people can be open to that.

IF you were right about the racism, you would undermine the racist policy, not by calling people names, but by arguing the merits or lack there of, of the policy.

AND, you would be listened to, instead just dismissed as a standard lemming lefty.

Probably not. It's why things burned down.

Probably so. In the past the National Guard had to be called out over those who were upset.

Meh, seems not.

Again, you see support for a fair justice system as a "left" position. What does this say about the "right"?

" The World owes all it's onward impulses to men ill
at ease. "-- Nathaniel Hawthorne
Um ... Howz about Chicks er Tamatas ?
Like Taylor Swift.Who got plenty of hate from those at
the Super Bowl who thought the world of Trump.
Swift is an original Never Trumper.

Probably not. It's why things burned down.

Save the drama. THe most recent riots were all your guys and it died when Trump left office, so so much for racist police being the cause.

Probably so. In the past the National Guard had to be called out over those who were upset.

Dude. That was in the 60s. YOu being silly on purpose?

Meh, seems not.

You thinking opening a discussion by calling half the country a taboo slur, is the way to start a constructive discussion? You are spending your time on a POLITICAL DISCUSSION FORUM, yet you are rejecting clearly good advice on how to have discussions.

Think about why that is.

Again, you see support for a fair justice system as a "left" position. What does this say about the "right"?

Again, you seem more focused on spamming negs than a real discussion.

The courts are not the problem for black people. The breakdown of hte family is.
