The City I grew up in is very liberal, and of course, “sustainable”. So, I have no doubt that Tom Bady’s anti-hate ad with Snoop Dog was received with open arms. Who spent millions on a Superbowl ad campaigning against hate? We all know hate is a bad thing and we try not to do it. Even the Bible says not to succumb to it. Even the Jewish faith is against it. So, who paid Tom Brady and Snoop Dog who already have millions in their bank accounts to stand there and say hate is bad? Now, that could have been a backhanded, veiled reference to the current occupant of the White House, but let’s leave that there for now.

I would like to see an expensive Superbowl ad campaigning against something relevant and tangible that no one likes. How about dirt? No one likes dirt especially in places that have winter. Dirt gets on your shoes, and you track it in the house. Then you have to keep cleaning it up. I know it’s against the bible, but I really “hate” dirt and so does my wife. Imagine rich and famous celebrities at the Superbowl saying dirt is bad. I guess that would make as much sense as lining your pockets with advertising gold to say hate is bad. Right?

Just a thought.

I do not believe "we all know hate is bad".

This country has had a bi-partisan consensus on equality for racial minorities since the mid 60s.

The myth that racial hate is a major factor in our society, at least of the white people hating or desiring to oppress black or brown people, is a harmful and destructive lie.

It is a lie pushed by people that benefit from division and hate, and are willing to encourage and foster division and hate, to advance their agenda, even as people are dying in the streets from their tactics.

That's right.

The Justice system.

Not a serious answer. Incarceration rates are primarily driven by illegitimacy, not government discrimination.

Also, considering the high percentage of blacks that live in dem controlled cities, it is odd that you would throw so many dems, white and black, under the bus like that.

Do you really believe that the dem mayors and city governments for generations have been systematically arresting and imprisoning blacks simply for being black?

Not a serious answer.

You make my point for me. Now you will understand why I give you a thumbs down.

Your post is simply saying the problem for minorities is bi-partisan. No argument there.

Nope. I gave my response and then seriously explained it and addressed YOUR point seriously.

You are not doing that in return. You can't.

Your position is just too obviously false for you to even try.

Name me one presidential candidate from either major party since the mid 60s, that did not support equality for racial minorities.

All of them. To throw you for the loop let's take Obama. He promised Hispanics that for their support he would take up their issues right from the start.

What did he do in eight years? Nearly nothing. We still have the same problems today we had in 2008.

I suppose to be fair, I don't really think it was over hate, though there would have been a lot if he had actually followed through, he simply didn't actually care.

A politician failing to keep a promise, isn't unusual. I asked about a President who OPPOSED equality for racial minorities.

Obama didn't do have any policies or laws, even ATTEMPTED, that had the intent of "keeping hispanics down" or denying them their full legal equality or rights.

He also did not do ANYTHING, to stop his administrations from keeping on with the long term policies of Affrimative Action and all the laws and policies of "civil rights" that have been baked into our government since the 60s.

You are living in a fantasy land, where you like to pretend that your political opponents are PURE EVUL, ie "Racist", even though from any objective standard, the few real racists, white ones at least, have not had a voice in policy for generations.

The real oddity here is, that you admitting this obvious truth, would not require, by itself, for you to change ONE policy position or belief you have.

What it would mean, is that you now have to actually DEFEND them on their merits instead of just saying "disagree" and running away.

Again, I still liked the commercial but I do understand the people pointing out the hypocrisy.

‘Peak Gaslighting’: Snoop Dogg And Tom Brady’s Anti-Hate Super Bowl Ad Sparks Backlash

Yeah I'm not understanding the hypocrisy in your link pointing out both supported TRUMP in the election.
The only hate we're seeing is coming from democrats going ballistic over DOGE exposing government corruption.

As for the ad, it's from Foundation to combat antisemitism, so I'm not following why Snoop and Brady were hired. Are either jewish and did they hate each? For an ad like this to be effective it needs to in the least have 2 or more people who are known to hate each other or hold strong disagreements acknowledge they need to put hate aside.

I have no idea if Snoop and Brady were paid, but if they were it taints the message.

So many of these things have been covered 100's of times and there is little gain in rehashing them so.............

When you have people lying that immigrants are eating people's dogs, well.......................

"But show me an actual law".

The fact that BOTH MAJOR PARTIES, have been in agreement on equality for racial minorities, since the mid 60s,

is a pretty strong sign that America as a whole is on board with it.

That is my claim. It is certainly worthy of discussion.

But, you, and every other lefty, keeps wanting to jump away from it, and jump around, flitting from issue to issue, so that they can take isolated stories or factoids, often ones that very weakly support their position at all, and if challenged at all, either jump again, or stonewall.

That is the behavior of a large group of people that KNOWS that they position they have been forced into supporting, is complete bs.

If it was proven that I was right on this, can you name one policy that it would require you to change on?
