Has Trump Increased His Base?

Lets be honest, Democrats are embarrassed and butthurt that a businessman who's never run for office before whooped their ass. They are unwilling to admit that the people are fed up with their BS.
Republicans won’t admit trump is worse than the deep state. Huge deficits, giant bailouts, riots, recession, most pandemic deaths... 4 years ago looks like heaven now.

Trump supporters look at the polls which have Biden way out in front and say, "Yeahbut 2016!"

But has Trump actually increased, or even maintained, the number of people who will vote for him? After all, he lost the popular vote in 2016, and his approval vs. disapproval rating as never been in the positives. In fact, he has averaged a weak 41 percent approval during this term.

Just for comparison, Obama averaged 47.9 percent, and his highest approval rating was 67 percent.

Trump has never seen 67 percent. His highest approval ever was 49 percent.

Turnout is going to be higher this time around than it was in 2016. Trump will need to have increased his support substantially.

It seems to me Trump has worked very hard to piss off as many demographics as possible. Suburban housewives, blacks, Hispanics, the elderly, the young, and even the military. His only friends are middle-aged non-college educated white guys.

So what do you think? Is a wipeout coming?
If the press reported on Obama the way they do Trump. Obama would've resigned.

Trump should resign. He makes Obama look fiscally responsible.

I have no doubt about Trump winning a second term. I also have no doubt about him eventually being seen as one of the best presidents we have ever had.

Increased, in 2016 people were cautious.

Now Trump has delivered and shown the clear distinction between deep state Promethean pedocrats, and the American way.
Yeah he increased deficits even more than the deep state.

Unfortunately, there is a lot of deep state that remains still in place.

Vote Trump and the job gets done in the next four years. Simple, American choice.
"Yeahbut 2016!"

Biden isn’t Clinton.

Trump’s not the ‘outsider,’ he must run on his record of failure and incompetence.

And as already correctly noted: the pool of undecided voters is tiny this year compared to 2016.

Why don't you specify how Trump is worse...now run away and hide libwit.

The real question is: will lightning strike twice?"

It's not the number of of the Popular votes that elect the president, it's the number of Electoral votes.
It is very rare for someone to lose the popular vote and win the electoral vote. As you said, lightning striking twice? I doubt it.

trump-tweet-electoral-college-disaster.jpg

doubt all you want.

I doubt joe is all that popular in flyover states.

Certainly not as popular as Hillary was.
Trump is not as popular as he used to be, either.

Its about how much America hates Trump more than how much America loves Biden.

Just like 2016.
Trump's problem in the election unlike 2016 is his own party does not believe him. Even his own people know he just makes up stuff they want to hear. They love to hear him say it but does it go any further than that. Each day that passes, it get's harder and harder to turn the tide. Early voting is now up to 47.5 million. That's near 40% of the 2016 vote already. In Texas, more votes have been received, 5.3 million than Trump got in 2016. Despite a public health crisis, economic hardship and a president who frequently tries to undercut the legitimacy of our electoral system, voters are still finding ways to cast their ballots. In many states, that has meant waiting in long lines, navigating a confusing election infrastructure and overcoming some obnoxious and even menacing attempts at voter intimidation.

There are stories coming out now slinging mud at Biden, his son, his wife, Harris and her husband and there will be more to come over next week. However, will make any difference. By the end of next week, we could have as many as 80 million votes cast.

We really don't know what the true figures are. We have no idea what the true favorability rating is. Democrats lie about everything. We have absolutely no idea what the reality is.
