Keep your ignorant bliss. You know I dont care about your generic creator concept. Men believed that before organized religions came to be and it was harmless. Wasn't true but it wasn't hurting anyone. I get it. You and my dad and my brother are all cool with me.
But death to organized religions. They are yucky. But i guess like people have the right to be gay you have the right to be stupid and superstitious.
It's not ignorant bliss, it's enlightened bliss and I'm fine with it.
Yes, humans have always and forever been spiritual, they didn't invent it or conjure it up from nothingness. Glad you're finally coming around on that.
As for Religions, I don't much care for them but unless we are all to become universally spiritual, religions are going to be around. Human spirituality will never go away unless humans also go away.
Or we could be a completely different species 1000-10,000 years from now where spirituality is a very quick and pointless conversation
Well, okay... that's a hypothesis, where is your evidence to support it? You need more than an uninformed opinion here, you need some real science unless it's a mater of faith.
Humans have been spiritual for all of their known existence as civilized homo sapiens. Today, around 95% of us are still spiritual in some way. There is a 5% deviation anomaly, as in pretty much any natural animal behavior. You can bash religions all day, they come an go, rise and fall... human spirituality remains our most defining attribute.
In order to support a hypothesis as you've presented, you need to show how nature has been wrong for all of human existence and how this seriously profound and important aspect of humanity was inspired by 'smoke and mirrors' of imagination.
So far-- No Dice! You can't present any such evidence.
