Yes they are Islamists the same ones Russia spent years holding back, tell you the truth i smelled a rat when Julani and his Al Qaeda head choppers drove all the way down the main highway from Allepo to Damascus to take power without even being attacked, the Russian airforce could have annihilated that convoy of Toyota trucks mounted with no more than machine guns and RPGs, they didn't have any air cover, that convoy was allowed to drive down that road, also i believe Julani is a American and possibly a Israeli Asset if you look at the guys history and how he came to be released by the Americans.
As for the Syrian regime not raiding anyone, they don't need to with Israel occupying Syrian land and Julani never fired a shot at them even after they bombed Syria after he had taken power he never said a word about it.
