I told him the bill did not count those who used the app to vet themselves. The bill did not include those who enter between entry points. And the bill doesn't provide a barrier that would actually keep them out. In fact all they have to do is say they are afraid to go back to their countries and we allow them in as asylum applicants with court dates years in the future requireing the expense and the danger of locating them and deporting them later. If we kept them out in the first place that would solve our problem. It is not our job to solve their problems.

There is no such thing as " illegal " immigrants. When an immigration court finds that verdict they are sent back to their native country. I believe they should be fingerprinted and photographed and told if they ever come back they will go to prison. All our immigrants here are documented or undocumented. You should go to the IRS Information Center as to who pays taxes and who doesn't. Most Immigrants DO , Those here on Visas do not. It's the federal government laws plus the federal government signed a Totalization Agreement with most foreign nations to avoid double taxation. Because of that if those nations have free health care ( and most do ) we are obligated to basically do the same.
