California Sen. Kamala Harris will become the next vice president of the United States, shattering another racial and gender barrier in American politics, at the end of a bruising presidential race that further exposed a bitterly divided electorate.

Harris, 56, will bring a legion of firsts to the vice presidency: A daughter of immigrants from India and Jamaica, she will be the first woman, the first Black person, the first Indian American and the first Asian American to hold the office. She will also be the first graduate of a historically Black college and first member of a Black sorority to do so.

Wrong
Charles Curtis was the first Indian vice president.

Charles Curtis (January 25, 1860 – February 8, 1936) was an American attorney and Republican politician from Kansas who served as the 31st vice president of the United States from 1929 to 1933 under Herbert Hoover and the Senate Majority Leader from 1924 to 1929. A member of the Kaw Nation born in the Kansas Territory, Curtis was the first Native American to serve in the United States Congress, where he served in the United States House of Representatives and Senate before becoming Senate Majority Leader. Curtis also was the first Native American to serve as Vice President.

Minority and black are 2 different things. Harris IS the frst black female to be vice president. She is te first female to be vice president.

Asian Indians would disagree with you saying that they are Black.
Kamala is exploiting Black Americans.

She's not the first but she's definitely the dumbest. Imagine how hard it was for poor old Joe to pick a VP dumber than he is.

And the REAL dumb ones were the ones who decided that empty pants suit was the dems best chance at beating Trump.

I guess to quote Kumalot, there is a huge significance in the passage of time, isn't there? Four years was enough. Time has passed and its TIME FOR THAT BITCH TO GO.
