Analysts had supposedly expected 100,000 jobs, so I’m not sure what bubble they live in, or if they are more Democrat activists than analysts.

Temporary help services lost 49,000 jobs in October, and has decreased by 577,000 jobs since reaching a peak in March 2022. Manufacturing employment decreased by 46,000 jobs in October too

And remember, the jobs “gains” in Aug-Sept of 159,000 and 254,000 had to be revised down 112,000 jobs. That was definitely Democrat activists cooking the books to try to lie and boost the case for Biden and Harris’s economy. This is why it’s wise to not just believe and trust ivory tower media pundits and analysts. They are wrong all the time, and they’re always wrong in one direction. The market is just one indicator of the financial health of a nation. Usually a sharp upswing in the market is an indicator of good financial news. As that isn't the case today, I have to wonder what the market is thinking. I'm hoping that it is reflecting how a bad jobs report today might result in who people vote for on Tuesday. It may have nothing to do with it, but hey. I'm probably as good a guesser as the ivory tower pundits.
