Hard Stop, States Could Lose National Guard Virus Workers

they were doing drive through testing, trained, and with personal protection gear..... don't think the public can do that...???

Why not? A lot of private companies have their own PPE stashes.. Like ServePro.. But that's not the point.. US Govt provided the PPE for the Nat Guard -- they will provide the PPE for private contractor (with the county or state) as an essential and crucial service. The "training' is minimal.. Probably was a couple of days for the Nat Guard soldiers...

They were building hospitals or clinics, think they are done with that....?

They -- and Corps of Engineers who did most of the design and planning.. Same deal.. More specific talent in the private sector for these services.. Almost ALL of that effort was WASTED !!!!

Problem solve here.. WHERE could you get unemployed people with BETTER training and skills than the Nat Guard??? Take any Community College "college of nursing" and MAKE it a PAID "intern credit" course.. Let THEM learn about PPE and suiting up and swabbing, pricking, and dealing with children and drunks in public...
ALL good ideas!

1. Who pays for it, the States or feds?

2. It still doesn't negate the scummy thing of stopping short of 90, at 89..... intentionally screwing them out of benefits.... if true.

Wouldn't you know it? The date is one day short of the troops being nationalized for 90 days or more.

So while some areas could lose much needed help, the troops are being screwed.

I'm not surprised, I wouldn't expect trump to treat the troops fairly.

Wouldn't mind giving them the full 90 days, but NOT additional MONTHS... You do know these Nat Guards have CITIZEN lives and jobs and family to return to --- Or dont you???

And besides, they are LIKELY to get additional DAYS to meet the 90 days in their 20 year hitch-up... Would be surprised if they didnt'... Which makes this story more of WHINE than "a thing".. Unless you low on Trump outrage news today or something...
The point is, why did they purposely make it the 89 days?

Any excuse for that, sucks...... don't ya think?
Probably so as to not have to spend more of other people’s money.
near all of these 'other people', are grateful for the National Guard's contribution and willingly want them to have the benefits with their 'money' paying for it..... :)
