Zone1 Happy Rosh Hashanah: Feast Of Trumpets

The Feast of Trumpets begins with Rosh Hashanah. The celebrations continue for ten days of repentance, culminating on Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement. On this final day, Jewish tradition holds that God opens the Book of Life and studies the words, actions, and thoughts of every person whose name is written there.

"L'shanah tova" May it be a good year

Leviticus 23:2424
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.

Thank you very much. I hope Rosh Hashana went well for you too. :)

He used to be.

Hmm ... I'm no native English speaker so I have a problem with this little sentence now ... I guess you think Jesus is an irrelevant dead human being of the past. Question: Are alive now all of your teachers who have an influence on you?

When Jesus walked the earth as the "son of man" he was Jewish. He is a spirit being now. Will he be Jewish when he returns? I don't know.

I did some more studying on the Feast of Trumpets and it's about asking God for forgiveness. It's not so much about repenting as it is asking for forgiveness. It's also about a day of rest and remembering the Holy Scriptures.

The repentance comes in with the "Day of Atonement" Yom Kippur.

Jesus is a Jew.

And you have absurde abstrahotic problems which are no problems at all. You are an US-American, aren't you?.(replace your concrete nationlity if you have another nationality) - and you are the same time nevertheless you on your own how god thought you to be. And you are also not fully what god thought you to be - otherwise you would not hate Jews for example. And when you will come back from your death and god should really like to live together with you in your new home - which Jesus prepares currently for you because you are in him a godly nice guy - what should be changed in the two facts that you are an US-American and that you are you? Why? What really will have to change will be something else: Your stupid learned hate on people who you do not know but mark. Everyone is a child of god, a spiritual being, a human being. Some people - maybe even most people - just simple do not know this or forget this - otherwise they would not try to murder each other. Our mission is never only an outer mission - what first of all means to protect others - it is also always an inner mission.

Hmmm ... somehow stupid this Arameans. They end textes often with "Amen". A men - what a nonsense. It should be "many men" or "a man", isn't it?

Yom Kippur is next week. That should be relaxing too.
The Day of Atonement is known as Yom Kippur and it has passed.
It was from October11 at sunset to October12.
