Before the Floyd death, his family and the people that new him saw him as a lost loser, drug abuser, felon, petty criminal and distant father. But given his murder, Crump, Sharpton, Jackson, and the rest of the "we are victims" black leadership made him a black "hero". His family members were weeping at the prospect of a $27M settlement with the city and not having him there to be an embarrassment to them. The world, or at least the Democrats, wants to canonize him and patronize him only to get votes. The family visited the White House today as Biden wanted to put on a patronizing spectacle and push forward his police reform bill. I would rather see a criminal reform bill.
