Happiness in Islam

Really? Then why do you call me satan by saying thats what satan would say? Derp. and by you own admission you are dumb enough to be brainwashed by a descendant of satan.
Because you are saying what Satan would say.

According to Jesus in John 5:24 the one's that believe in him, like me, won't be judged. According to Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 you will be condemned for using deception to lead others away from Christ.

According to Jesus no one will be condemned because they don't believe in him (John 5:24). The ones that do believe in him, like me, won't be judged. The ones that don't believe in him, like you, will be judged. But being judged does not necessarily mean being condemned. It is only the ones that actively oppose Jesus through deception that will be condemned according to Paul (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12).
Exactly! I do not believe in your fake ascetic counterfeit Jesus. Never have, never will. You openly defy the Law of God and mislead others to do the same which amounts to murder.

In the name of Jesus! What blindness!

YOU HAVE YOUR REWARD ALREADY!

You probably need to read John 5:24 and 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 again. In fact, why don't you post them and walk me through it.

Nah. You are on your own, pal.

Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes in the one who sent me has eternal life and will not come to condemnation, but has passed from death to life. Amen, amen, I say to you, the hour is coming and is now here when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. For just as the Father has life in himself, so also he gave to his Son the possession of life in himself. And he gave him power to exercise judgment, because he is the Son of Man. Do not be amazed at this, because the hour is coming in which all who are in the tombs will hear his voice and will come out, those who have done good deeds to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked deeds to the resurrection of condemnation. “I cannot do anything on my own; I judge as I hear, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will but the will of the one who sent me. ~Jesus

Yes, but only those who hear which isn't you who doesn't have an inkling that your sin is as obvious as a white boulder in the middle of a plowed field.

Jesus said the hour was NOW 2000 years ago. Many rose from the dead and are still rising while you remain where you have chosen to stand wasting the chance at eternal life that God gave you only to rot in a tomb reeking of corruption infested with unclean creatures, and filled with dead mens bones.

John 10:30-33: Jesus declares, "I and the Father are one," prompting listeners to accuse him of claiming to be God.
John 8:58: Jesus states, "Before Abraham was born, I am," taking for himself the divine name of Yahweh (Exodus 3:14).
John 14 : 61 - 64: Jesus tells Philip, "Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father," identifying himself with God.
John 5:17-18: Jesus calls God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
Mark 14:61-64: When asked if he is the Son of God, Jesus affirms it ("I am"), leading to charges of blasphemy.
John 10:33: Enemies confirm they are stoning him because, "you, a mere man, claim to be God".
John 20:28-29: Jesus accepts Thomas's worshipful declaration, "My Lord and my God!".
Mark 2:5-7: Jesus forgives sins, a role exclusive to God, which he validates by healing a paralytic.

Jesus states, "Before Abraham was born, I am," taking for himself the divine name of Yahweh (Exodus 3:14).
Jesus said, "God tells me what to say and how to say it.:" Jesus was not claiming the Divine name, the Divine name was making it clear that He, the Father, was speaking trough Jesus.

"I will give you treasures hidden in dark vaults and stored in secret places so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name." Isaiah 45:3

Jesus said the hour was NOW 2000 years ago.
In John 12:23-27, Jesus declares "the hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified," referring specifically to his impending crucifixion and resurrection as the culmination of his mission. He contrasts this with previous moments, indicating that the time for his sacrifice and ultimate triumph over the world is now.

"God tells me what to say and how to say it.:"
Jesus stated that HIS FATHER told him what to say and how to say it to emphasize his perfect obedience, divine authority, and total unity with the Father. His words were not personal opinions but direct, authorized messages from God, ensuring that his teachings were exactly what the Father intended to communicate.

Key Reasons for Jesus’ Statement:
  • Divine Authority: Jesus was not speaking on his own authority; he was delivering authorized messages, making his words divine revelation rather than mere human advice.
  • Perfect Obedience: By only saying what the Father told him, Jesus modeled complete submission to God's will, showing that his ministry was aligned with the Father's.
  • Trust and Relationship: This approach demonstrated his role as the mediator, bridging the gap between God and humanity by delivering truth directly from heaven.
  • The Model for Teaching: Jesus showed that the most effective, powerful, and authentic communication comes from being in tune with God's truth, not from human eloquence or complex language.
In short, Jesus was highlighting that his message was not his own, but rather a direct transmission from the Father, ensuring his words carried the full weight and authority of God himself.

"I will give you treasures hidden in dark vaults and stored in secret places so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name." Isaiah 45:3
Isaiah 45:3 promises that God will reveal "treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places" to Cyrus, symbolizing the transfer of Babylon’s immense, concealed wealth to him. Spiritually, it signifies finding divine strength, wisdom, and blessings within difficult times ("darkness") to recognize God's personal, sovereign power.

Key Meaning and Context
  • Historical Context: The verse is addressed to Cyrus the Great, the Persian king who conquered Babylon, and predicted his access to the massive, concealed treasuries of conquered nations.
  • "Treasures of Darkness":Refers to riches hidden in, or derived from, dark, secret places (like Babylonian vaults)
    .
    • Purpose: To make it known that Jehovah (the Lord), who calls people by name, is the true God, even using a pagan king for His purposes.
Usage Examples and Interpretation
  • Finding Purpose in Hardship: It is used to encourage believers that God is present and working during painful, "dark" times (trials, grief, or uncertainty), transforming these experiences into opportunities for character growth and hidden spiritual blessings.
  • Divine Provision: Interpreted as a promise that God can reveal resources or breakthroughs, even in overwhelming or hostile circumstances ("marketplace mammon").
  • Recognizing God's Calling: It emphasizes that God calls people by name, and these "treasures" help individuals recognize His personal involvement in their lives.

God tells me
Not God. HIS FATHER.

  • John 12:49-50: "For I have not spoken on my own, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a command to say everything I have said."
  • John 8:28: "...I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things."
  • John 14 - 10: "...The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work."

hobelim Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on my own. The Father who dwells in me is doing his works. ~Jesus

...you remain where you have chosen to stand wasting the chance at eternal life that God gave you only to rot in a tomb reeking of corruption infested with unclean creatures, and filled with dead mens bones.
These are not the words of a person who is at peace. These are the words of a person who is at war.

1 John 2:4-6
Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps his word, the love of God is truly perfected in him. This is the way we may know that we are in union with him: whoever claims to abide in him ought to live [just] as he lived.

No, it has nothing to do with any sacrifice. "The time is now", while you still have a body, to rise from the dead. It is only these who hear the voice of the Son of God, and act on it, who have passed from death to life. This is the first resurrection. They have been judged worthy of eternal life. All who partake in the first resurrection cannot be harmed by the second death, (revelation 20:6) the death of the body, and so they will never know what its is to die.

Not you, but thems the breaks!

The title of the passage is literally, The Coming of Jesus’ Hour.

John 12: 20-36
Now there were some Greeks among those who had come up to worship at the feast. They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and asked him, “Sir, we would like to see Jesus.” Philip went and told Andrew; then Andrew and Philip went and told Jesus. Jesus answered them, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Amen, amen, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains just a grain of wheat; but if it dies, it produces much fruit. Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will preserve it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there also will my servant be. The Father will honor whoever serves me.

“I am troubled now. Yet what should I say? ‘Father, save me from this hour’? But it was for this purpose that I came to this hour. Father, glorify your name.” Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it and will glorify it again.” The crowd there heard it and said it was thunder; but others said, “An angel has spoken to him.” Jesus answered and said, “This voice did not come for my sake but for yours. Now is the time of judgment on this world; now the ruler of this world will be driven out. And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself.” He said this indicating the kind of death he would die. So the crowd answered him, “We have heard from the law that the Messiah remains forever. Then how can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?” Jesus said to them, “The light will be among you only a little while. Walk while you have the light, so that darkness may not overcome you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where he is going. While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become children of the light.”

Jesus primarily discussed his "hour"—referring to his crucifixion, resurrection, and glorification—in the Gospel of John. Key instances include John 12:23 and 12:27 ("The hour has come"), John 17:1 ("Father, the hour has come"), and earlier, when he stated it had not yet come (John 2:4, 7:30, 8:20), highlighting his divine timing.

Key "Hour" Verses in John
  • John 2:4: Jesus tells Mary at Cana, "My hour has not yet come".
  • John 7:30 & 8 : 20: No one arrests him because "his hour had not yet come".
  • John 12:23: "The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified".
  • John 12:27: "Father, save me from this hour? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour".
  • John 13:1: At the Last Supper, Jesus knew "his hour had come to depart from this world".
  • John 17:1: The opening of the High Priestly Prayer: "Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son".

Other Contexts
  • John 4:21-23: Jesus tells the Samaritan woman that "an hour is coming" when true worship will not be confined to a mountain.
  • John 5:25, 28-29: "An hour is coming, and is now here," regarding the dead hearing the voice of the Son of God.
  • Matthew 24:36: Regarding his second coming, Jesus states, "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only".
These verses highlight that Jesus was conscious of a divine timetable, which shaped his actions and public ministry.

Right.

You might not realize this being such a believer but to Jesus his disciples followers and the unknown authors of the Gospels who witnessed the destruction of Judea and the exile enslavement and slaughter of hundreds of thousands of Jewish men women and children the nations were the enemy. The Gospels were the 1st century equivalent of the nuclear option.

"Take from my hand this cup of fiery wine and make all the nations to whom I send you drink it. When they have drunk it they will vomit and go mad; such is the sword that I am sending among them."

:wine:

"Just art thou, in these thy judgments, thou Holy One who art and wast; for they shed the blood of thy people and of thy prophets and thou hast given them blood to drink."

He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who lives by the sword shall die by the sword.
Dude, I've heard of playing "Devil's Advocate", but you're taking it too far, IMO.
