Again, it’s hard to believe anything coming from Hamas. The terrorist group said Hannah Katzir died but she came out alive with other hostages.

“The Hamas terror organization continues to act in a cruel and inhuman manner,” the IDF says, adding that it is investigating the veracity of the information published by Hamas.

The IDF says Hamas bears responsibility for the safety of all the hostages being held in the Gaza Strip, even those held by other factions.



Commentary:
so they were sold to “another terrorist faction”–of course Hezbollah has the $$$ but also denies any responsibility for their deaths (if they are indeed deceased)
Hamas, abducted them by force and held them captive until trafficking them to others–they were in Hamas custody. Hamas is responsible for their deaths.
There's video evidence of video captured by IDF that the mother and two children were made hostage.
If so, Hamas has a lot of explaining to do before the the surviving terrorist are hung.
