Hamas responds to Netanyahu's ultimatum

'We're committed to the ceasefire deal, so long as Israel is,' Hamas terror group claims.

11 Feb 2025 ~~

The Hamas terror organization on Tuesday night issued an official response to Israel's ultimatum, under which Hamas will either release hostages on Saturday, as per the deal, or the fighting will restart.
In its announcement, Hamas claimed that it is committed to the ceasefire deal, but that its commitment is dependent on Israel - "as long as the occupation is committed to it."
The terror group also claimed that Israel is not meeting its obligations, and blamed Israel for "delays and complications" in the deal.
Later on Tuesday evening, it was announced that Israel has officially paused talks for the deal's second stage, which would see further Israeli withdrawals from Gaza, additional humanitarian aid - around 50% of which is taken by Hamas - and the release of young men held hostage. A diplomatic source said that the decision was made following Hamas' violation of the agreement, and that "there will not be progress on continued implementation of the deal and negotiations for the second stage without the return of our hostages."
Following the Cabinet meeting, Netanyahu said: "The decision that I passed unanimously in the Cabinet was that if Hamas does not return our hostages by Saturday afternoon, the ceasefire will end, and the IDF will return to forceful fighting until Hamas is finally defeated."

On Monday, US President Donald Trump issued a warning to Hamas and said that if it were up to him, the ceasefire and hostage deal should be cancelled if Hamas does not release all the hostages.
“As far as I'm concerned, if all of the hostages aren't returned by Saturday at 12:00 o'clock, I think it's an appropriate time, I would say cancel it and all bets are off and let hell break out,” stated Trump.

Commentary:
This is results when you try to deal and negotiate with terrorists - ESPECIALLY Islamic terrorists. They lie as a matter of course - it is commanded of their faith to lie to protect Islam.
Unlike the situation under Biden where the IDF was constrained and kept on a short leash - Trump told Netanyahu to pull out all the stops and finish the job ASAP-it’s gloves off time
To add an exclamation point to Trump's Gazans leave Gaza proposal, the IDF is going make it a point to level what’s little is still standing in Gaza and do everything they can to make it as uninhabitable as possible to facilitate the Trump plan
Qatar has been playing a typical Islamic roll in these negotiations. They're protecting the Hamas terrorists while feigning agreement and compliance with the West, while favoring the actions of the terrorists.
Trump should a message the Qataris that they have 48 hours to turn every single Hamas member over to us or the US Navy will blockade their ports and he will slap a 100% trade embargo on them.
No more screwing around.
Concede totally or face total oblivion...

Hamas must be full of democrats. That is simply Hamas-speak for delay tactics that as long as Israel does nothing, Hamas will just keep delaying buying time, and if Israel acts, then Hamas will declare Israel broke the deal and now everything is their fault.

If you have a blockade, what are you putting tariffs on? Just curious!

When Israel returns to waging war on the Hamas vermin, I do hope they can use very very precise targeting this round.
Israel has used very precise munitions all along. That's why the casualties have been so low.

I don’t know (none of us know) how many civilians the IDF’s military campaign in Gaza killed or injured. Hamas press releases have no credibility.

But we do know that it wasn’t a tiny number even if it wasn’t remotely as high as Hamas vermin claimed.

The objective of a bombing or shelling campaign is to kill Hamas and deep the Hamas infrastructure. All I’m saying is that I wish Israel had the ability to be far more precise.

Israel has been using very precise weapons, but when Hamas uses civilians and civilian infrastructure as shields, some civilians are going to be killed. To keep the number of civilian casualties low, Israel has been taking great pains to warn the civilians to leave areas that are about to be bombed. I really don't see what more can be done.

Israel has been using very precise weapons,
That I don’t agree with you on. But that’s not the point.

Exactly correct!

Understood. I agree with you on that point, too.
I really don't see what more can be done.
Yep. That’s the problem. I don’t know that anyone who has come up with a solution to that problem. But I stand by what I said earlier. I do wish there could be found some way to more fully avoid collateral damage to civilians.

Netanyahu 50 years ago as a young man in his 20s.
Around the time his special forces older brother was killed saving 170 passengers on a plane from terrorist.
Although I'm not Jewish I do think that point2% of Middle Eastern land is not asking for much. Otherwise, I don't take sides, just what is logically right.

Israel has been using smart bombs which are very accurate, not dumb bombs. The hit their targets precisely, but if some so called Palestinian civilians remained in the area after being warned to leave, some of them will die, too.

Once Biden started chasing Muslim votes he prioritized reducing Palestinian casualties and providing more aid over protecting IDF soldiers and destroying Hamas, falsely claiming only smaller bombs were necessary, ignoring the fact that if smaller bombs don't destroy the target infantry will have to go in and finished the job, and that would mean more IDF casualties. Remember every Israeli attack had to be certified to comply with International Humanitarian Law before it could be launched and IHL requires the force used in an attack be proportionate to the objective sought, so I see no way Israel could have done more to keep Palestinian casualties low without sacrifices the lives of IDF soldiers.

Oh DumbAgain could get anymore dumb?

They aren’t waging war on Hamas, you dumb MFer. They are mass murdering defenseless civilians and you support it. Stop lying. You love genocide.

Now tell me, if Israel starts dropping 2,000lb bombs on the Palestinians, will you support it?

That is an obvious lie.
Not only is Hamas democratically elected government, but it also native and represents the owners of all the land in Palestine and Israel. So calling Hamas "terrorists" is like calling the French Resistance "terrorists".
Obviously the "terrorists" are the Israelis who started all the violence by blowing up the British peacekeepers in the King David Hotel in 1946.
The reason the Israelis did this was so that no one could stop them from then wiping out hundreds of native villages like Deir Yassin.
So anyone who actually knows anything at all about the Mideast knows that the only "terrorists" are the Israelis.

NEVER should any single religion be allowed to take over any country.
That automatically prevents freedom of religion, and in the case of Israel, unleashes total fascism.

The Israelis have always been the only "terrorists", and they should not have accepted the invitation to Palestine if they did not intend to buy land, and intended to steal it instead.

It is illegal to chase Palestinians from their home by blowing up whole neighborhoods.
It is impossible to free any hostages by blowing up buildings, and the main cause of death of the hostages has been entirely the IDF murdering them.

Yes, you lying twat rash. They are indeed fighting Hamas.

You are allergic to honesty. This explains why you refuse to ever be honest.

:fu:

That is an obvious lie since the whole point of taking hostages is to make a frontal assault impossible.
The fact Israel is still making a frontal attack, is proof that Israel has no intentions of trying to free any hostages.
And indeed, when Hamas did release half a dozen hostages, they were murdered by the IDF.

Somehow, this board has become a new refuge for Stormfront bigots.

The worst Nazis are the Israelis.
They are 6 million illegal immigrant invaders who have stolen over 85% of Palestine from the 13 million natives.

Sad. But it seems true.

How could you possibly fall for that absurd Israeli propaganda?

Look at the facts.
The British did a census in 1922, and it said there were fewer than 30k Jews in all of Palestine.
Look who started all the violence by blowing up the British peacekeepers in 1946?
It was so Menachim Begin's gangs could start wiping out hundreds of native villages like Deir Yassin, without any opposition.
