That depends on which numbers you use:
According to Google AI Gaza had a population of 2.23 million on 7 October 2023 nearly half of which were under the age of 18.
Current estimates of Gazan fatalities hover around 63,000.
63,000/2,230,000=~2.83%
That percentage also doesn't appear genocidal, but it also doesn't appear to be based on an accurate death count.
