Who in the heck has ever heard of Transnistria? And, it officially doesn't exist. It broke off from Moldova, claimed to be one of the most corrupt countries in the world. The people there don't care what the outside world thinks of them and aren't about to give up their independence.

There are loads of these places. A mate went to Transnistra last year and reckoned it was crap. I like these oddities though. There are a load that arent in this list as well.

Catalonia will be the next.
