Hakeem Jeffries is launching an investigation into the private donors for the WH Ballroom. Trump is not using taxpayer money, so Jefferies will.

So ridiculous.

This back and forth is like a silly movie.

Jeffries is worried about conflicts of interest?

Oh no, the taxpayers are not funding the ballroom, so the Dems cannot cry about that. Now they cry about private funds.

Good. Trump's comments about the money going into his pocket are alarming, and the pay to play aspect is pretty obvious.

Congress should also demand that the private donation to fund the military be returned immediately.

An investigation isn't going to change anything. This is pure authoritarian oligarchy. The new Gilded Age. We're sleepwalking right into it. Our education on history has completely failed us.
The education system clearly failed you.

/——/ It gets better. The Senator who bonks Chinese spies wants it torn down.

It seems that Democrats just want to destroy everything that is good for America.

Trump could cure cancer and the Democrats would immediately move to outlaw the cure.

What is there to investigate? Private donors are behind it. Unmasking them will accomplish what?

A better use of taxpayer dollars would be to investigate how members of Congress (both parties) become egregiously wealthy on $174k annual salary. How about investigating stock trades among congressional representatives?

What is a better use of taxpayer dollars to investigate; a White House ballroom funded by private donors or exponential wealth growth by members of Congress?

The Lefties will be back in the White House one day. The pendulum always swings back and they too will be able to enjoy the Ballroom.

I wish they got this upset when Obama did the $370M renovation, when Bill and Hillary took the furniture, and when Kamala waited 6 months for the VP mansion could be renovated for her.
