I post this simply because a while back some claimed that Israels gun control kept this sort of thing from happening. they claimed that terrorists had to use knives because of the strict Israeli gun control laws.....
they were wrong. Even in Israel, terrorists can get fully automatic weapons while Israeli citizens must go through a process and get permission.

Two people were killed and two others seriously wounded in a shooting attack in Tel Aviv just before 3 p.m. Friday. Five others were wounded — three in moderate condition and two with light injuries. Hours later, the killer was still on the loose.
Witnesses said some 15 shots were fired in the attack, apparently in semiautomatic bursts from a Carl Gustav submachine gun.
as I have pointed out in other posts about magazine limits...the witnesses, as stated in the story, said the killer was calm as he fired into the crowd.....he did not rush and fired without haste.
This is typical of these shooters and also points out that those who say that requiring these killers to reload would save lives is foolish. They are calm as they change magazines and rarely screw up the change, and can usually change magazines in 2 seconds.........
there is video of the attacks from CCTV cameras........and it is obvious this guy chose his location since there were no soldiers or police nearby to stop him....he escaped.........a trained killer.
