Putin orders troops into pro-Russian regions of eastern Ukraine

So now I see why CNN et al have been blasting the invasion porn for the past 3 weeks.

1st, they make everyone scared shitless of a Russian Invasion

2nd, Russia moves into Ukrainian territory already under Russian separatist control

3rd, The US an Europe do some token sanctions and asset freezing

4th. Russia stops at the already rebelling areas, getting what it wants while the west can claim they "stopped aggression"

5th Both sides declare "victory" and 2-3 years from now Russia quietly annexes the areas they control.

Well now we know you are terrible at understanding what's going on in the world. maybe try not saying anything and learning about life for awhile.

I was wrong. Putin was stupid enough to invade all of Ukraine, and Ukraine was was strong enough to fight them off for more than 2-3 days.

Getting into 2-3 weeks now, and I'm honestly impressed,.

I want to see Putin lose, so the gradual backbone the west is showing is encouraging, My concern is if Putin decides to expand his little conflict in an "all or nothing" attempt to save face, does it stop at conventional or expand beyond that?

We really really need a Russian Stauffenberg at this point.

Or the equivalent that took Khrushchev down.

Of course they get the added advantage of claiming the higher gas prices are due to punishing Russia by not buying their oil instead of taking the blame for closing pipelines and stopping drilling permits. If you want to force electric vehicles on an unwilling public you simply make sure no one can afford to operate gas powered vehicles. Kind of like, if you want to turn the country socialist you first destroy the economy. This administrationis doing a good job of both.
