There are always starry eyed pie in the sky adherents to almost any comically insane notion you can think of.
This one is really funny though..... Greenlanders who actually think they can just live on one corner of the globe and mind their business completely and be left alone to nurture their own particular identity. It's definitely a human quality and very understandable but it's also completely unrealistic.
The little micro nation of Greenland was born as a minnow in a. School of Wales.... There was never any question as to whether or not they would eventually fall under some other nation's control; the only question was when and who
the final identity of that Nation would be. If not the United States it most certainly will be either Russia or China.
Not really sure what it is they're trying to preserve.... They don't actually have a national heritage, just not big enough.
Even money says it's all propaganda funding from the same old reliable sources. There's actually a movement in Greenland that wants to proceed with the United States merger.... But they're not getting any coverage of course.
